MT82Ag integrates 2D imager and decoder board into a compact one piece. With its minimal size of W21.5 x L14.3 x H11 mm and weight of only 2.6 grams, MT82Ag 2D scan engine can be integrated into the most space-constrained products easily, offering unparalleled flexibility of product design.

With auto-adaptive snappy scanning performance, MT82Ag 2D scan engine provides outstanding performance for portable devices in logistics and warehouse applications where barcodes can be scanned from near to far.
Mobile-Friendly Scanning
MT82Ag, with enhanced optical design and latest decode algorithm, virtually scans all 1D and 2D barcodes on any surface, either paper-based label or mobile phone display. With MT82Ag 2D scan engine integrated into mobile device, users may expand their business into many new applications such as eCoupon, eTicket, Digital ID cards and mobile payments.
Ambient Light Immunity
MT82Ag automatically adjusts its parameters for optimal scanning performance which provides the freedom to scan barcodes from under complete darkness to direct sunlight. As a result MT82Ag barcode scan engine is ideal for both indoors and outdoors scanning applications which require more immunity for ambient light.
Easy and Flexible Operations
A set of commands is supported to enable the host device to configure all the functions of MT82Ag thereby fulfilling dynamic configurations demand. With multiple interfaces (USB HID, USB VCP, UART) available, MT82Ag fulfills diverse industrial needs of communication methods as well as enabling user to easily configure the reading modes and scanner settings according to preference.
